About the Role
Following the award of a major project and with a strong pipeline of upcoming work, Bothar is seeking Civil Construction Labourers to join our Melbourne site teams across both our tunnelling and civil crews. You'll work on specialised trenchless infrastructure projects, assisting with tunnelling operations, shaft construction, excavation works, site establishment, materials handling, and specialised trenchless equipment. Civil construction experience is highly regarded. Trenchless or underground experience also highly regarded but is not expected. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a desire to learn who we can train in the specialised side of the work.
Key Responsibilities
General civil labouring across tunnelling and civil crews
Assisting with excavation and shaft construction works
Installing and removing site equipment
Manual handling of materials and tools
Spotting plant and machinery
Maintaining a secure and tidy worksite
Following SWMS and safety procedures
There are opportunities to work across both civil and tunnelling crews for the right individuals.

This Role Offers
$38 - $55 per hour casual rates, with experience, skills and tickets recognised in your rate
Ongoing work across a strong Melbourne and Victorian project pipeline

What You Need
Full Australian working rights
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
Reliable, safety-focused and physically capable for construction work
Highly Regarded Tickets
Confined space
Additional civil construction licences, tickets and relevant experience will also be highly regarded
Location
Most of our work is across metropolitan Melbourne, with occasional work in regional Victoria or interstate.
