An chance to join one of Australia's largest window furnishings manufacturers, based in Bayswater.
We are looking for people to start immediately to be trained to manufacture quality, custom-made window furnishings, including roller blinds, venetians, verticals and curtain tracks.
Positions are available in our day shifts (7:00am-3:06pm and 9:54am-6:00pm) for Monday to Friday with Saturday overtime regularly available through the busy season.
A successful applicant will:
Be fluent in spoken and written English
Understand safe work practices
Be able to read, comprehend and follow Work Orders and Standard Operating Procedures
Have a high level of attention to detail to produce quality product, encompassing:
Visual inspections
Differentiating between shades of colour
Using a tape measure to +/- 1mm accuracy




Have good manual handling skills and be physically fit and able to lift, push and pull up to 20 kilograms
Be able to follow directions, learn new skills, rotate between different production tasks, and be part of a cohesive team.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Preparation of raw materials to be used in production
Assembly of product
Responsible use and respect of tools and machinery
Assembly and packing boxes and applying correct labelling
Keeping the work area clean and tidy
You will be provided with ongoing training and support to ensure you have the necessary skills to complete your work.
