About the role HotDoc is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to our mission of enhancing patient engagement by developing solutions that improve healthcare experiences. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement features that benefit both patients and healthcare providers.

What you'll do
Design and develop scalable web applications using up-to-date technologies.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to create user-friendly interfaces and improve functionality.
Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications, enhancing performance and reliability.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve our technology stack.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development.
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as React and Node.js.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Nice to have
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies.
