Position Available: Spray Painter / Prep
Stessl & Horizon Aluminium Boats, a well-established boat manufacturer located in Coomera on the Gold Coast, is excited to offer an opportunity to join our dynamic team in the vibrant marine industry.
Our current, purpose-built factory within the Gold Coast Marine precinct is ready for skilled individuals to contribute to our continued growth.
We are currently seeking an experienced Boat Spray Painter / Paint Prep to join our painting team.
This role will report directly to the Factory Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Sanding and preparing boats for painting
Assisting in the preparation process for paint application
Spray painting aluminium boats ranging from 2.4m to 8m
Maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality
Identifying and correcting any surface blemishes
Thriving in a fast-paced environment
Collaborating effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently
Competently using various hand and power tools
Experience in a marine environment is advantageous, and familiarity with Wattyl industrial coatings and HB metallics and clears is preferred.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4 PM (overtime available and may be required).

Remuneration will be in line with experience and will be discussed at interview.
