The Role
The Warehouse/Store Person is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse, maintaining high housekeeping standards, and ensuring the timely and secure delivery of supplies to support underground mining operations.
Core Responsibilities:
Inspect deliveries and identify damage, short supply, or incorrectly supplied materials.
Accurate receival and recording of items into the warehouse and the appropriate binning and storage of inventory into the designated safe and secure locations.
Correct issue and recording of all items from all warehouses, laydown areas,



tanks and general storage locations including site delivery when required.
Assist in the physical loading and unloading of inventory into the warehouse or nominated locations.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of transported materials, including explosives underground, stores underground and delivery/collections off site.
Monitoring control panel of truck to identify and correct malfunctions and service requirement.
Assist Warehouse Supervisor with other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Knowledge of inventory control and material storage
5+ years' experience in a Warehouse workplace
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Ability to solve practical problems in the field
Previous experience working in a mining environment would be considered favourably
Experience with ERP systems (Pronto highly desirable)
