Breaks Cover Educator
to join our team at
Mt Atkinson Children's and Community Centre
.
Mt Atkinson Kindergarten, situated in Truganina, opened its doors in January ****. Located within the Mt Atkinson Children and Community Centre, the kindergarten can accommodate up to 132 children each day. We offer a welcoming, community-focused early learning environment, including funded Three-Year-Old and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs.
The Mt Atkinson Children and Community Centre offers a variety of services, including kindergarten programs, maternal and child health services, and spaces for community meetings and activities. These services are designed to support the needs of this rapidly growing suburban area.
We are seeking a permanent Break Cover Educator to support two kindergarten groups.
You will be working each week on a Tuesday and Thursday, between 11:00am and 3:00pm.

About you
You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference.
You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child.
You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member.
You have a drive to grow and improve continually.
You value kindness and respect.
You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations.
You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first aid certificate.
About the role
You'll create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow.
You'll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework.
You'll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues.
You'll actively participate in a culture of reflection and continuous improvement.
