Operational Services Officers (Food Services) - Expression of Interest
We are currently seeking experienced Food Services Officers to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for future casual or temporary positions within Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS).
Food Service Officers are required to work a rotating roster that covers 7 days per week across Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital.
Food Services operates between 06:00 and 20:30 daily.

About the role
You will be required to deliver exceptional customer service to patients and customers by ensuring meals are served accurately and in line with individual requirements.
This role requires strict adherence to standard operating procedures, guidelines, duty statements, and relevant policies to maintain the highest standards of food service and care.
Shifts and Availability
7-day roster includingmorning and afternoon shifts
Availability to workweekends and public holidaysis essential
Flexibilityto adapt to changing schedules and service needs is highly valued
Key Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation under supervision
Deliver meals to wards and service areas
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in food service areas
Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
Follow food safety and infection control protocols at all times
What We're Looking For
A strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Previous experience in food services or hospitality (desirable but not essential)
Willingness to undergo relevant training and health checks
