About the Role
Based in our Sydney office, thisSenior Contract Administratorrole offers the opportunity to work across both pre-contract activities and live project delivery, supporting the successful commercial outcomes of major civil infrastructure projects.
Working within high-performing teams, you will take ownership of contract lifecycle management, provide strategic commercial advice, and ensure strong contractual governance across complex environments.
Support the preparation and submission of tenders and bids for major projects
Review and assess head contract conditions and identify commercial risks
Assist in developing commercial strategies, pricing structures and procurement plans
Engage with estimators and delivery teams to align scope, methodology and risk allowances
Participate in tender clarifications, negotiations and contract award processes
Manage head contract and subcontract lifecycle from procurement to close-out
Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiations and award strategies




Deliver accurate cost forecasting, reporting and commercial risk management
Administer claims, variations, EOTs and support dispute resolution
Ensure compliance with contractual, legal and statutory obligations
Provide commercial advice to Project Managers and leadership teams
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
Your experience and capability will include:
Proven experience in a Senior Contracts Administrator role within Tier 1 or major Tier 2 contractors
Demonstrated success delivering large-scale infrastructure projects (road, rail, water, energy or similar)
Strong knowledge of Australian Standard contracts (AS****, AS****, GC21 or similar) and commercial frameworks
Advanced capability across procurement, cost control, forecasting, and contract risk
Expertise managing claims, variations, and negotiations in complex environments
Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
Tertiary qualifications in engineering, quantity surveying, law, commerce or a related discipline
