Little Corner Early Learningis a family-owned early education service in Redland Bay.
We offer a warm, well-resourced and supportive environment for children, families and educators.
We care for children fromsix weeks to Kindergartenand value calm, consistent care, genuine relationships and high-quality play-based learning.
We are seeking a fully qualified Certificate III or Diploma Educator to join one of our established room teams in a permanent part-time role.
About the role
You will work alongside experienced educators and leaders to create a secure, welcoming and engaging environment where children feel secure, supported and able to thrive.
The role includes:
building warm and respectful relationships with children and families;
supporting children's wellbeing, routines and transitions;
maintaining active supervision throughout the day;
contributing to play-based learning experiences;
completing observations, planning and documentation;
working collaboratively within an established room team;
helping maintain welcoming and well-presented learning environments; and
following service policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Availability
Applicants must be available Monday to Friday and able to be rostered for shifts falling between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.
What you will need
A completedCertificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care




A currentQueensland Blue Card
Current child protection training, includingGeckotraining, or willingness to complete this before commencing
CurrentFirst Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxistraining
Knowledge of theNQF, NQS, EYLFandQKLG
Confidence interpreting curriculum documents and contributing to educational planning
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A collaborative, reliable and positive approach to teamwork
Key responsibilities
Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families
Maintain active supervision and support children's safety and wellbeing
Support daily routines and transitions in a calm and responsive way
Contribute to play-based learning experiences, observations, planning and documentation
Work collaboratively within an established room team
Help maintain welcoming, organised and well-presented learning environments
Follow service policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Participate in ongoing professional learning and team development
