Receptionist in Physiotherapy Practice - Part time/ Full Time 2 positions
Receptionist required in a group of physiotherapy practices located in Liverpool, Moorebank, and Green Valley.
Experience is preferred
Previous reception or customer service experience preferred (healthcare reception highly regarded)
Part-time position, 21+ hours per fortnight
Preference would be given to applicants who have some flexibility to work extra days, especially to cover leave and staff absences.
Will include late finishes (7.00 pm), and possible Saturday work (mornings only).
Fully paid training and supervision initially, but working as sole receptionist to 2-4 physiotherapists once in the role.
A physiotherapist's receptionist is the first point of contact for patients, referring healthcare providers, insurers, and others who deal with the practices.
Very good personal presentation, face-to-face communication, telephone communication, and the ability to calmly deal with several matters at once, are essential for this role.
It is not essential that past experience is in physiotherapy practices.
Medical, dental, and other healthcare reception work would be appropriate.
Reception experience in other businesses would also be an advantage.
The successful applicant would be expected to work a flexible roster, including late finishes (approx. ******pm), and covering extra hours when other staff are on leave (sometimes at short notice).
Independent transport is essential.
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle essential (due to travel between practice locations)

Duties:
meeting and greeting patients
answering the telephone to answer enquiries and take bookings
booking patients into appointments
taking payments from patients via Hicaps, Eftpos, and cash transactions
typing reports and correspondence
ordering supplies
assisting physiotherapists with other appropriate tasks as required
ensuring the reception area is orderly and tidy
sanitising surfaces, including treatment areas
Skills:
handling cash and managing banking
explicit spoken English
patience in dealing with all types of individuals
knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Outlook and Excel
reasonable typing speed and accuracy
ability to learn practice management software specific to the physiotherapy profession
