We are currently seeking applications from experienced Blast Hole Drillers for permanent, ongoing full-time positions at our Isaac Downs Project in the Bowen Basin (Coppabella/Moranbah region), operating on a 7/7 roster.
Reporting to the Drill and Blast Supervisor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Operating our REICHdrill C700 and C750 platform drill rigs
Accurately checking the quality and depth of drill holes and recording ground conditions that may affect blasting
Maintaining a clean and tidy rig and reporting/addressing any maintenance faults
Demonstrate a positive attitude towards regular and reliable drill metres, rig utilisation and consumables usage
Provide neat and complete associated documentation for drill reports, pre-starts etc
Regularly use safety tools such as JHA's and Take 5's
Be willing to be trained across a variety of drill rigs in the fleet and show an adaptable attitude
Willingness to learn and assist blast crew on drill & blast projects (Isaac Downs and Baralaba)
Experience and qualifications required:
Experience using platform rotary drill rigs
Previous experience in Blast Hole Drilling in Black Coal mining
Australian Driver Licence
Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
RII for Blast Hole Drilling - RIIBHD301D/E
RII for Vehicle Loading Crane (preferred but not essential)
RII for Conduct Lifting Operations (preferred but not essential)
