Position: Retail Manager
Salary: $76,550 - $85,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation

All Sorts of Things is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store.
This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong leadership skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to drive sales while maintaining efficient store operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the overall operation of the retail store to ensure excellent customer service and smooth daily trading activities.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and ensure merchandise is displayed effectively to maximise sales opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote products, increase customer engagement, and support business growth.
• Analyse sales performance and customer trends to assist in pricing decisions, product selection, and promotional activities.
• Prepare and monitor store budgets, sales targets, and operational expenses to support profitability.
• Maintain accurate records relating to stock movements, sales transactions, and store performance.
• Lead, mentor,



and supervise retail staff, including assisting with recruitment, training, performance management, and rostering.
• Ensure the store is presented to a high standard, including visual merchandising and product organisation.
• Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and provide product recommendations when required.
• Establish and maintain effective purchasing practices to ensure adequate stock availability and minimise shortages.
• Monitor compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall customer shopping experience.
Qualifications
• Diploma in Business or Management (preferred but not required)
• Minimum 1 year experience in a retail management or supervisory position

• Experience in inventory control, sales monitoring, and retail operations.
• Sound organisational and problem-solving skills.
