Position Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing machinery to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. This role requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that all products meet the company's standards for quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operation:
Operate and monitor machinery used in the manufacturing process.
Set up machines according to specifications and perform routine checks.
Ensure machines are running smoothly and efficiently during production.
2. Quality Control:
Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify and report any issues or defects in the production process.
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
3. Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Production Supervisor.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of machine operation,



production output, and maintenance activities.
Complete production logs and quality reports as required.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and any issues.
Work closely with other machine operators, supervisors, and team members to ensure smooth production flow.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in training new operators as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the kitchen or furniture manufacturing industry.
Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Technical Proficiency:
Capability to operate and maintain various types of manufacturing machinery.
Safety Awareness:
Knowledge and practice of workplace safety protocols.

Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 kg.
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
