We are seeking an experienced and qualified Quality Assurance Officer to join and bring their expertise to our dedicated professional team in Dandenong South Victoria.
The Role As a QA Officer, you are responsible for ensuring that all products and services consistently meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This involves conducting audits, performing tests, and driving process improvements.
You will oversee production activities, maintain and manage documentation, investigate non-conformities, and implement corrective actions to uphold compliance with industry standards. Your Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct routine audits, inspections, and compliance checks on production lines and raw materials to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Create quality measurements to track improvement in products
Maintain, review, and update quality documentation,
including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, and, in some cases, product specifications
Investigate product quality issues, identify root causes, and prepare reports on non-conforming materials or processes
Manage dispatch requirements and ensure products meet customer expectations and demand
Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
Work closely with the development team to improve existing products
Ensure testing equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and used according to protocols
Conduct audits of vendors and suppliers to ensure supplied materials meet company standards
Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
Previous work experience in quality assurance or a similar field
Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
Valuable communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent data collection and analysis skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with high attention to detail.
Salary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
