Learning and Development Business Partner
Indigeco is recruiting a Learning & Development Business Partner for our NSW Government client.
This is a contingent contractor opportunity supporting a large state‐wide workforce of approximately 4,500 employees across instructional design, learning facilitation, stakeholder engagement and capability initiatives.
This role will backfill a substantive L&D; Business Partner position within a small Learning & Development team.
The role is critical in supporting business‐as‐usual L&D; delivery while contributing to key organisation‐wide capability projects, including a leadership framework rollout and the annual mandatory training consultation and build program.
THE COMPANY
Our client is a large NSW Government department delivering important services and outcomes across the state.
You will join a cooperative Capability and Talent function within a broader People Branch, supporting learning, capability, diversity, equity, inclusion and workforce development initiatives.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop and maintain mandatory, compliance‐driven and organisation‐wide learning products for staff across multiple locations and functions
Translate SME content into clear, engaging and learner‐friendly materials suited to a broad employee audience
Create and adapt digital learning modules, micro‐learning resources, orientation materials, awareness communications and job aids
Use authoring tools such as Chameleon, Articulate Storyline, Rise or similar to develop eLearning and digital learning assets
Facilitate and co‐facilitate virtual and face‐to‐face learning sessions, including orientation, leadership, capability and information sessions
Partner with internal stakeholders,
SMEs and external vendors to identify learning needs, scope solutions and refine training content
Support L&D; planning and project coordination, including scheduling, tracking progress, coordinating communications, capturing feedback and preparing updates
YOUR REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated instructional design experience in a corporate, public sector, regulatory or large organisational environment
Experience designing eLearning, blended learning, mandatory training, compliance‐based training or digital learning programs
Confident facilitation skills, including experience delivering virtual training, presentations and ideally face‐to‐face group sessions
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to consult, influence and work effectively with SMEs across multiple business areas
Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Chameleon or similar, or willingness to quickly learn Chameleon
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical or complex content into clear learning materials
Ability to manage competing priorities, work across multiple projects and build strong relationships in a distributed team environment
YOUR PERKS
$550 to $700 per day + super, depending on experience
Flexible NSW location options, including Parramatta, Sydney CBD, Newcastle, Maitland, Coffs Harbour, Orange and other regional hubs
Hybrid working arrangement, typically 3 days in office and 2 days from home, with flexibility based on work requirements
