Job Description
Epworth Eastern is seeking full-time, part-time, and casual cardiac technologists (Electrophysiology) to join the Cath Lab team at Epworth Eastern Hospital in Box Hill. Work with leading Cardiologists in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiac / coronary intervention. In this position as a Cardiac Technologist you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the safety of patients undergoing interventional cardiac procedures and investigations in the Cath Lab based at Epworth Eastern (Box Hill). You will be part of the Cath Lab teams reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience of working in Cath lab as a cardiac technologist / physiologist
Able to support cardiac electrophysiology study procedures and 3D mapping systems
Perform haemodynamic recording and monitoring during cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
Provide cardiac technical troubleshooting on equipment as required

Located in Box Hill, Epworth Eastern is a state-of-the‐art facility with 15 theatres, Cath lab and expansion of ICU to 12 beds. Epworth Eastern maintains a broad clinical focus from cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic and general surgery to oncology, urology and endoscopy services. Our redeveloped site delivers positive, meaningful, and sustainable impact on the health and wellbeing of our community, delivering much needed health care services and facilities in Melbourne's east. Epworth Eastern is entering an exciting phase of growth, with a second cath lab opening soon to accommodate the increasing volume of structural heart procedures and further expand our interventional cardiology capabilities.
