Senior Purchasing Officer
. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and grow into a broader procurement and logistics leadership role within a well-established manufacturing business.

About the role:
This position will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, supplier coordination, inventory control and material planning to support manufacturing operations, while contributing to continuous improvement across procurement processes.
Raise and manage purchase orders using SAP
Monitor supplier performance, quotations and delivery schedules
Coordinate stock control,



goods receipting and discrepancy investigations
Collaborate closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure material availability
Build solid supplier relationships and contribute to process improvements
Develop broader procurement and logistics responsibilities over time
Skills and Experience:
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following:
Previous purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment
Strong SAP experience, with SAP Business One experience highly regarded
Advanced Excel and data management skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and grow into a more senior role
Chinese language skills are advantageous but not essential
