View Cafe is a café and events venue overlooking the beautiful Hinze Dam. We are committed to providing quality food, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Position Summary
The Kitchen Hand supports the kitchen team by keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly. This role involves washing dishes, assisting with basic food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and helping wherever needed to ensure excellent service for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment
Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised throughout the day
Assist chefs with simple food preparation
Receive and put away deliveries
Work as part of the team and assist in other areas when required
Skills & Attributes
Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and willing to learn
Able to work in a fast-paced workplace
Good communication and teamwork skills
Takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean and organised
Able to follow instructions.
Availability
We are seeking someone available to work on weekdays with the occasional weekend if necessary.
