Diesel Services Queensland is the Gold Coast's longest-established diesel mechanical workshop, proudly servicing the transport, construction, earthmoving and commercial industries for over 30 years.

As we move into ournew, modern workshop premises, we are expanding our team and looking for a motivated and skilled mechanic to join us.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and brake systems.
Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and address them promptly.
Replace or repair faulty components and systems.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.




Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Collaborate with team members to achieve optimal results and share best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy vehicle systems.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand tools effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Certificate III in Engineering-Mechanical trade or similar trade.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
A valid driver's license is required; a heavy vehicle license and forklift license is a plus.
