Salary: WHD2 $***** - $***** per hour + 25% casual loading + 12% Superannuation + Salary Sacrifice Benefits.
About the Role
As a Services Assistant at Kimba Hospital, you will provide essential support services across catering and utility areas, ensuring the smooth day‐to‐day operation of the health service.
Your duties will include food preparation and delivery, cleaning, laundry and general housekeeping, contributing directly to patient wellbeing and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with meal preparation, plating and food service.
Deliver meals and support patient dietary needs.
Perform cleaning, housekeeping and laundry duties.
Maintain infection control and food safety standards.
Support general facility cleanliness and presentation.
Work collaboratively within a team setting.
Who We're Looking For
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible approach to working across a 7‐day roster and varied shifts.
Commitment to customer service and patient care.




Basic knowledge of food safety and infection control practices.
Experience in cleaning, catering or laundry (desirable).

National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups.
Immunisation Risk category A (direct contact with blood or body substances).
