We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Assistant/ Retail Manager to join our newly opened Terry White Chemmart Pharmacy Melrose Central in the brand new Melrose Central Shopping Centre.
This role is suited to a professional retail-focused person who can uphold high standards of customer service, merchandising, and store presentation within a modern community pharmacy.
This is a flagship store located inside the brand new Melrose Central, which is just not a shopping Centre, It is a major lifestyle precinct with 90 plus retailers.
You will be working in a brand new architect designed pharmacy in the heart of a buzzing, modern precinct.

What you'll be doing
Overseeing all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and stock control
Leading, inspiring and developing a retail team to ensure high levels of customer service and sales performance
Implementing and maintaining visual merchandising standards to create an attractive shopping environment
Managing sales targets and KPIs, analysing performance data and implementing strategies to maximise revenue
Recruiting, training and coaching staff members to develop their skills and career progression
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and addressing any complaints or concerns professionally
Collaborating with head office teams to implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities
Maintaining a safe, clean and secure store environment for both staff and customers
What we're looking for




Proficiency with FRED Office for POS
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, stock control and merchandising
Experience with ELS equipment highly regarded
Experience in a TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacy highly regarded
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions under pressureHigh level of organisation and attention to detail
Desirable: Experience in the health, wellness or pharmacy retail sector
