The Opportunity
UniSC is entering an exciting new chapter in how we deliver strategic outcomes across the University.
As the scale, complexity and importance of our initiatives continue to grow, the newly established Enterprise Portfolio and Delivery Office (EPDO) will play a critical role in strengthening how we prioritise, govern and deliver strategic change across the University.
The Office provides a coordinated, university-wide approach to portfolio governance, delivery management, organisational change, assurance and benefits realisation, helping ensure our most important initiatives achieve their intended outcomes.
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to join this new capability as Senior Manager, Portfolio Delivery.
Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Portfolio and Delivery Office, you will lead UniSC's Delivery Management capability, providing oversight, direction and support across a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives.
Working closely with Executive sponsors, senior stakeholders and delivery teams, you will strengthen delivery performance, resource planning, dependency management and delivery confidence across the University.

As a key leader within the EPDO, you will play an important role in translating strategic intent into effective delivery and lasting organisational impact.

As Senior Manager, Portfolio Delivery, you will help establish the delivery capability at the heart of UniSC's new Enterprise Portfolio and Delivery Office.
You will influence how strategic initiatives are planned, resourced and delivered across the University, creating greater visibility, coordination and delivery confidence.

You will
lead the University's Delivery Management capability, providing oversight and leadership across a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives;
manage and develop Delivery Leads and the Central Delivery Resource Pool, ensuring resources are aligned to organisational priorities and delivery demand;
strengthen delivery performance through effective planning, governance, monitoring and performance reporting.
identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies, constraints and challenges, supporting informed decision-making and timely resolution of issues;
build project and delivery management capability across the University by embedding consistent methods, standards and best-practice approaches;
partner with stakeholders across business and professional areas to improve delivery confidence and drive successful outcomes; and
work collaboratively with governance, assurance, change and benefits leaders to promote an integrated approach to enterprise delivery.
About the Enterprise Portfolio and Delivery Office
The Enterprise Portfolio and Delivery Office provides a University-wide capability for enterprise portfolio governance, intake and prioritisation, delivery confidence, organisational change visibility and benefits realisation.
It establishes a consistent framework for how initiatives are assessed, prioritised, governed, delivered and transitioned into business operations.




Operating through a federated delivery model, the Office brings together governance and assurance, delivery management, organisational change and advantages realisation to support successful delivery while maintaining strong business ownership and accountability.
About you
You are an accomplished delivery leader with a track record of improving project, program or portfolio outcomes within large and complex organisations.
You bring strong commercial and operational judgement, a collaborative leadership style and the ability to navigate competing priorities with confidence.
You are known for building trusted relationships, developing capability in others and helping teams deliver successful outcomes in challenging environments.
You will possess:
Relevant qualifications and substantial relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience leading project, program or delivery management functions in a complex organisation.
Strong knowledge of delivery governance, project controls, dependency management, risk management and enterprise delivery practices.
Experience leading delivery teams, project managers or resource pools across competing priorities.
A proven ability to improve delivery performance, resolve complex challenges and support successful outcomes.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leaders and business stakeholders.
Experience in portfolio-level resource planning, capacity management and delivery performance reporting.
