TCM Civil Pty Ltd is seeking an experiencedProject Engineerto join our growing team in NSW.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our civil engineering projects.
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing project initiation, execution, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions to our clients.
Key responsibilities
Overseeing day-to-day project operations and coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met
Monitoring project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to maintain project control and identify any deviations early
Preparing and reviewing project documentation, including plans, specifications, method statements, and technical reports
Conducting site inspections and quality audits to ensure work complies with standards, specifications, and safety requirements
Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimise delays and cost overruns
Liaising with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and obtain necessary approvals
Preparing progress reports and maintaining accurate project records and documentation
Assisting with procurement activities
What we're looking for
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent skilled qualification
Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in project engineering or project management within the water, sewer infrastructure sector
Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, construction methodologies, and building standards
Demonstrated experience with project planning, scheduling, and budget management
Proficiency in relevant software tools such as project management software, CAD, and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
A commitment to health and safety compliance and a proactive approach to risk management
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
