The role of Field Calibration Technician is pivotal in thegrowth strategyof TrescalAustralia.

Ensure all jobs are completed in a timely fashion with the best possible turnaround time (TAT).
Ensure all reports are accurate and error-free before they are submitted to Service Coordinators, Team Leaders, or clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform calibrations, verifications, testing, preventative maintenance and repairs onTemperature, Pressure, Flow, Weighing and Analytical Instrumentation as requested by the customer and instructed by the Field Team Leader for our customers.
Ensure all calibrations are performed as per documented Trescal calibration procedures.
Ensure all jobs are completed in a timely fashion with best possible TAT
Ensure that reports are accurate and error free before they are submitted to Service Coordinators, Team Leaders or clients
Be involved and responsible for resolving first line customer queries and complaints asrequired.
Participate and encourage teamwork within the service area and company as a whole.
Delivering service to company KPI's and QA
Maintenance and calibration of internal equipment.
Ensure any Laptops and Phones provided are treated with care and maintained in good order.
Any problems, loss or damage are to be brought to the attention of your Field Manager or State Manager
Ensure any personal accident occurring on site or in Trescal Labs is reported to your TeamLeader or Branch Manager and OHS Officer immediately.
Ensure risk assessments, JSA, SWMS are completed as appropriate
Participation in field management meetings and laboratory toolbox meetings
Assist with pricing and quoting as directed by the Team Leader
Looking after company asset at all times- help preserve service life Any other reasonable tasks as instructed by the Field Team Leader or Branch Manager
Experience and Qualifications
Mandatory
Skills and experience with digital, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic instrumentation.
Technically competent in performing traceable calibrations to various instrumentation
Technically competent in performing repairs to various instrumentation
Valuable understanding of computing systems and business software
Highly Desirable
Previous work experience in a process control organisation
Previous work experience in providing traceable calibration services
Familiar with the use and operation of Quality Management Systems
Mandatory
Trade qualification in process control instrumentation, electrical, electrical engineering, or industrial electronics.
Highly Desirable
Restricted Electrical License

Strong organisational skills and ability to stick to agreed deadlines
Flexibility and a team-based approach to tackle workload day-to-day
Ability to work autonomously
An open mind and a "can do "and solution focused attitude
Proficiency in using calibration software and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
Professional presentation and approach to the job, colleagues and clients.
Professional level of written and verbal communication skills.
Dedication to building long lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders
Dedication to exceeding sales targets in the budget
Able to work autonomously on a daily basis and manage time effectively.
Mechanical and computer aptitude (Excel etc.)

Working Conditions
Normal working conditions, OT as required by the business and agreed by the employee
Working across NSW and occasionally interstate on customer sites.
Frequent stays in hotels for job duration
