We are looking for an experienced Estate Administration Lawyer to join our growing Wills & Estates team which is made up of experienced Partners, senior associates, associates, lawyers, graduates and paralegals who practice exclusively in this area of law.
Our lawyers and support staff are empathetic and understanding when helping families and loved ones through the process of administering a deceased estate.
The successful candidate will become an integral member of the team and contribute to the overall intent and purpose of our firm, which is to help people and change their lives for the better.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and empathetic estate administration Lawyer (5+ years PAE) to join our Wills & Estates team.
The successful applicant will be someone who is understanding, is a good communicator, and develops a rapport with our grieving clients.
Helping families and loved ones left behind to cope with the estate issues is paramount.
You will need to be well organised and familiar with the estate administration processes so that the matters are completed as expeditiously as possible.
You will need good attention to detail, excellent file management, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a large team.
Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and assistance to clients in all aspects of estate administration;
Manage a file load of varied estate administration matters in all states and territories (mainly QLD, NSW & VIC), including obtaining grants of probate, letters of administration, unusual grants, estate distributions, intestate estates, and advice surrounding duties of an executor.
Requirements
Admission as a lawyer with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in either or both NSW & Qld Succession law
A client focused approach with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and referrers
Excellent drafting skills with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work and service
Ability to manage multiple files, prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Ability to work between all our offices
Willingness to build relationships with referrers and build your personal profile
Experience in LEAP software is beneficial, but not a requirement

The Location
Modern, spacious, well-positioned offices in Coolangatta, Kingscliff, Robina Town Centre, Southport, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
This full-time position is based at our Coolangatta office.
