About The Role
The Midwife shall assume responsibility for the planning and delivering of holistic patient care for the patients assigned to them.
This position is specific to the post-natal ward.
Takes responsibility for arranging for his/her roster, ensuring study days and debriefing sessions are noted and included
The Midwife shall assume responsibility for the evaluation and documentation of the assessment, planning and implementation and evaluation of nursing care for the patients assigned to them.
Responsible to the Nurse Unit Manager for the provision of optimal patient care.
Promotes a pro-active approach to communication and seeks assistance as necessary.




Work as part of a team in accordance with agreed performance measures.
About You
Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery.
Current AHPRA registration.
Minimum 2 years' experience across the Midwifery scope of practice.
Ability to maintain team-oriented and effective relationships with multidisciplinary team members.
Understand and Function within the ANMC guidelines.
Advanced patient service skills.
