UKO
New South Wales
7d ago , from Illawarra Mercury Job Board
UKO is expanding, and we're looking for an ambitious Casual Leasing Specialist to help drive the successful lease-up of our newest Dee Why community. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in launching one of our newest developments by generating local demand, converting enquiries into residents, and delivering an exceptional leasing experience.
This is a casual position offering adaptable part-time hours based on business requirements. It's an ideal role for someone looking for flexibility while gaining hands-on experience with a high-profile property launch and growing their career with one of Australia's leading co-living and Build-to-Rent operators.
This is not a support role. You'll run the leasing process end to end, from first enquiry through to move-in, with real accountability for occupancy and conversion. And because this is co-living, the relationship doesn't end at lease signing — you'll be a visible, trusted presence for residents throughout their stay.
What You'll Do
Own the leasing cycle
— manage enquiries, run inspections, qualify and progress applications, negotiate and execute leases, and coordinate seamless move‐ins. Conversion and speed-to-lease are your measures of success.
Drive occupancy and revenue
— manage your own pipeline and prioritise activity against occupancy and revenue targets.
Build resident relationships
— be a key point of contact from pre‐arrival to departure, building the relationships that drive renewals, referrals and positive reviews.
Support community
— help deliver the resident events and engagement that set UKO apart. A strong community is a full community.
Bring market insight
— monitor demand, competitor activity and pricing, and feed your on-the‐ground view into pricing and campaign decisions.
What You'll Bring
Experience in residential leasing, real estate, PBSA, BTR or co-living, with a record of converting enquiries into signed leases (2+ years preferred)
A current NSW Certificate of Registration or Class 2 Real Estate Licence — or willingness to obtain one quickly (we'll fund the course)
The confidence to run a leasing function autonomously and be accountable for results
A genuine customer‐service mindset — you enjoy dealing with residents and take pride in prompt, professional responses
Ambition to progress into property and community management
Why UKO
Structured career progression
— we promote from within, with a defined pathway into Property & Community Manager roles
Ongoing training and certifications
, funded by UKO
Regular team and resident events
, wellness programs and an Employee Assistance Program
A supportive, high‐performing team environment
