We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our Wangaratta team. This hands‐on leadership role will oversee the daily operations of the workshop, coordinate servicing and maintenance across our fleet of trucks, trailers, dollies, and heavy vehicles, lead and support the workshop team, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with Centurion's policies. This role operates Monday to Friday, with on‐call requirements and a rotating weekend roster.
What You'll Be Doing
Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, including planning workloads, allocating tasks, and coordinating servicing requirements to ensure fleet availability.
Lead, support, and mentor workshop staff while promoting a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
Coordinate and monitor repairs, maintenance, and servicing across a diverse fleet of trucks, trailers, dollies, and heavy vehicles.
Provide technical guidance, diagnostics, and fault‐finding support for complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Carry out mechanical repairs, servicing, and component replacements including brakes, suspension, steering, and major mechanical systems.
Assist with welding, fabrication, trailer repairs, and 12V/24V electrical fault diagnosis as required.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with Centurion safety policies, workshop procedures, and maintenance requirements.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a heavy vehicle workshop environment
Australian recognised Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification
Ability to lead, support, and coordinate workshop staff while managing daily priorities and servicing requirements
Strong background as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic working across trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment
Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and maintaining high workshop standards
