About the Role
The Haus Restaurant Hahndorf is one of South Australia's busiest and most iconic hospitality venues. We are looking for talented Chefs
to join our dynamic kitchen team. With multiple positions available, this is your chance to step into a quick paced, high volume kitchen where teamwork, quality and consistency are everything.
Successful applicants must be available to work weekends and holiday periods.
You will support the Head Chefs in the daily operation of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards while maintaining a safe and positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation and service during busy periods
Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and WHS compliance
Maintain food storage, rotation and quality control standards
Contribute to menu execution, daily specials and prep lists
Work effectively as part of a fast paced, high volume kitchen team
Communicate clearly with senior chefs and support junior kitchen staff
The Ideal Candidate




Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years experience
in a commercial kitchen (high-volume venue preferred)
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS practices
Calm and efficient under pressure with excellent attention to detail
Flexible availability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
Ambitious, eager to learn and motivated to progress your cooking career
