$75K PA - $85K PA plus super BOZMAC PTY LTD, also known as Bozmac Towing Equipment, is looking for a Metal Fabricator to support their operations. Bozmac is an Australian-owned manufacturer specializing in high-performance towing and recovery equipment, including tilt slide bodies, truck packages, rotators, and towing accessories designed for professional operators across Australia and the South Pacific.
Known as the "Tilt Slide Specialists," the company combines industry experience, innovative engineering, and rigorous testing to deliver durable, reliable, and safe towing solutions built for demanding recovery operations. Based in Hervey Bay, Queensland, Bozmac is recognized for producing functional, heavy-duty equipment backed by quality craftsmanship and a strong reputation within the towing industry. To be considered for the role, you need to have a relevant industry qualification or at least 1-2 years' experience in a similar position.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Interpret engineering drawings, fabrication plans and technical specifications to determine manufacturing requirements.
Select, measure, prepare and mark out steel,



aluminium and other metal materials for fabrication.
Cut, shape, bend and form metal sections using hand tools, power tools and fabrication machinery.
Fabricate structural components, truck bodies, chassis modifications and towing equipment in accordance with engineering specifications.
Align, fit and assemble fabricated components using precision measuring instruments and fabrication techniques.
Join metal components using MIG, TIG and other appropriate welding processes, together with bolting and riveting where required.
Inspect fabricated components and welded assemblies to ensure dimensional accuracy, weld quality and compliance with engineering specifications.
Grind, finish, clean and prepare fabricated products for painting, assembly and final installation.
Operate fabrication equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
Work collaboratively with the team, supervisors and production staff to ensure
Manufacturing deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
