Supply Chain Analyst

Role Overview
As a
Supply Chain Analyst
at GRA TRANSPORT PTY. LTD., you will play a critical role in evaluating, optimizing, and streamlining our end-to-end transport and logistics operations. You will analyze supply chain workflows, assess transport network performance, monitor vendor deliverables, and implement data-driven strategies to enhance operational efficiency and minimize cost.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes and transport logistics data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across freight operations, delivery schedules, vehicle utilization, and workflows.




Develop and maintain quantitative supply chain forecasting models to align transport capacity with customer demand trends.
Evaluate carrier performance, freight rates, and vendor service-level agreements (SLAs) to support contract negotiations and vendor selection.
Standardize transport operational procedures and monitor freight and containers movements to optimize turnaround times and service efficiency across transport operations.
Conduct route optimization studies and fleet distribution analysis to improve transit times and lower fuel/operational expenditures.
Collaborate closely with dispatch, drivers, customers, subcontrators and administrative departments to streamline operational handovers and workflow integration.
Prepare comprehensive analytical reports and present data-backed strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain network using industry-standard analytical software and ERP platforms.
Ensure all supply chain and transport operational workflows comply with Australian transport safety standards and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in supply chain, operations, freight, or transport network analysis.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and quantitative modeling skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
