My Australian Career A community-focused early learning service based in Cranbourne, VIC is seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood (Pre-primary School) Teacher to join its dedicated team on a full-time basis.
Position Overview: The Early Childhood (Pre-primary School) Teacher will plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate educational programs for children in the kindergarten/pre-primary room, in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).

Task & responsibilities
Design, implement and evaluate play-based educational programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS
Observe, assess and document each child's learning and development, and maintain individual learning portfolios
Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning workplace that supports children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
Build strong, collaborative relationships with children, families and colleagues
Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's progress, development and any concerns
Supervise and mentor early childhood educators and support staff within the room
Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and centre policies and procedures
Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports and enrolment documentation
Participate in staff meetings, professional development and continuous quality improvement processes
Support children with additional needs in collaboration with families and specialist services
Qualifications & experience
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA) that meets the requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher under the Education and Care Services National Regulations
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration, or eligibility to obtain registration
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certificates (or willingness to obtain)
Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development
Prior experience in an early learning or kindergarten setting (highly regarded)
