The Chance
As
Site Supervisor
for our
Concrete Recycling & Contract Crushing
operations, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of fixed and mobile crushing sites around metropolitan Melbourne. This role is best suited to an experienced leader from the quarry and/or concrete recycling industry.
About You
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the quarry and/or concrete recycling industry
An understanding of both hard rock crushing and concrete recycling plant/processes
Exceptional attitude towards implementing safety and quality management systems
Competent operation of a variety of earth moving and recycling equipment
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Effective communication skills to manage various site operations, supplies, subcontractors and personnel
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring all personnel are suitably competent and trained for their role or task
Operational performance of site and/or project specific programs
Material processing and production management
Assist in managing day-to-day running of projects to achieve project KPI's
Oversee implementation of management systems (admin/OH&S;/quality/etc.)
Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and Project Manager
Liaise with Maintenance Manager to facilitate all plant and equipment servicing and maintenance, and maintain plant and equipment in good condition
Ensure all OH&S; and other site/project compliance requirements are adhered to
Work to budgets
