What you'll do
Monitor and maintain optimal growing conditions for various algae species, including temperature, light, and nutrient levels.
Conduct regular inspections of algae cultures to assess health and growth rates, documenting findings for analysis.
Assist in the preparation and mixing of nutrient solutions essential for algae cultivation.
Operate and maintain specialized aquaculture equipment, ensuring all machinery is functioning efficiently.
Implement biosecurity measures to prevent contamination and ensure the integrity of the algae cultures.
Collaborate with the research and development team to test new cultivation techniques and improve existing processes.
Participate in harvesting and processing algae, ensuring adherence to quality standards and protocols.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including growth metrics, equipment maintenance,

Requirements
Previous experience in aquaculture, horticulture, or a related field is preferred, with at least 1-2 years in a similar role.
A strong understanding of algae biology and cultivation techniques is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating solid collaboration skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols meticulously.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing conditions in the cultivation environment.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively document and report findings.
Nice to have
A degree or certification in aquaculture, marine biology, environmental science,
