Role Snapshot
As a Graduate Landscape Architect, you will support the delivery of high-quality landscape construction outcomes across land development, built form, and infrastructure projects. Working under the guidance of senior team members, you will assist in translating design concepts into practical, compliant, and buildable solutions.
This role provides exposure to the full project lifecycle from early design input and feasibility through to tendering, construction oversight, and project completion. You will contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, support contract administration activities, and assist in coordinating with clients, contractors, and authorities.
A key focus of this position is developing your technical capability, project coordination skills, and understanding of construction processes, while contributing to safe, efficient, and commercially successful project delivery.

How You Will Contribute
Assisting in the preparation of landscape designs, ensuring they are practical, compliant, and aligned with relevant standards and specifications




Supporting the development of technical documentation, including drawings, reports, specifications, and contract packages
Contributing to tendering activities, including quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and documentation preparation
Assisting with contract administration tasks such as variations, progress claims, and project reporting
Participating in site inspections and construction surveillance to monitor progress and quality of works
Liaising with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to support project delivery
Supporting project coordination to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget
Assisting in managing client expectations and responding to project-related queries
Maintaining accurate project records, including timesheets and milestone tracking
Contributing to a safe working environment by adhering to OH&S; policies and procedures
Our Ideal Person
A Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (or equivalent qualification)
A solid foundation in landscape design principles and horticultural practices
Exposure (through study, internships, or early experience) to construction projects such as streetscapes, public open space, or water-sensitive urban design elements




A developing understanding of the construction process and interest in contract administration
Familiarity with preparing technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, or tender packages (highly regarded)
An awareness of working with local or state authorities (e.g. councils or referral authorities), with a willingness to build this experience further
Basic understanding of Australian Standards (e.g. AS****, AS****) or a strong willingness to learn
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and contribute to technical information
Effective communication skills and confidence working within a team and with stakeholders
A current Victorian Driver's Licence (or working toward obtaining one)
