Your Opportunity
Bring your hands-on,
stand-alone
payroll experience and passion for thinking critically and problem solving, to this high profile community focussed and reputable organisation, for a business critical
MicrOpay
payroll position.
Working closely with Finance, HR and the broader business, this role is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in managing end to end payroll.
You will cover the
payroll processing
and run the fortnightly payroll for around ******* permanent and casual staff, using
MicrOpay
. This will include managing pay day superannuation, setting up new employees, dealing with leave entitlements and terminations and resolving issues through your ability to listen, interpret, analyse and resolve payroll anomalies.
You must own the payroll process end to end and be the expert go to person, as well as provide data analysis, complete payroll reconciliations, and work on ad hoc audit and other
tasks and
projects within the finance team
, as needed.
You will pride yourself on
attention to detail and accuracy
and be able to report on this and use your
problem solving
and communication skills to resolve any issues as they arise.
This organisation uses
MicrOpay and ConnX
and experience with MicrOpay is essential with knowledge of ConnX advantageous.

Salary guide is $100,000 - $120,000 plus super depending on experience. You can work 4-5 days a week and it is an office based role. (The salary will be pro-rated if working 4 days).
Your Profile
You are a Payroll Specialist who is comfortable owning the day to day processing and the payroll end to end, and you have the proven skills to pick up and interpret a new organisation's payroll complexities and awards, quickly and with accuracy.
You must:
Offer strong
MicrOpay
experience and ideally bring knowledge of ConnX.
Have
Multi-Enterprise Agreement
(MEA) experience, ideally in the education industry and if not, then a proven ability to
interpret and apply industry specific enterprise agreements.
Have proven ability to do year end STP reporting using MicrOpay and an ability to work with auditors and the broader finance team throughout the year.
