We are seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead the team at
Beehive Hotel
and oversee the successful day-to-day operations of our vibrant pub.
As Venue Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving venue performance, and fostering a positive and engaging culture for both our team and customers. You will bring strong leadership, commercial insight, and a genuine passion for hospitality to ensure Beehive Hotel continues to thrive as a welcoming destination for the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, inspire, and develop the venue team to deliver outstanding service and hospitality
Oversee daily operations across food, beverage and functions (where applicable)
Maintain high standards of customer experience, venue presentation, and operational excellence
Manage rostering, labour costs, stock control, and financial performance




Drive revenue growth through effective sales initiatives, promotions, and community engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and team members
Recruit, train, coach, and retain a high-performing hospitality team
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, health and safety requirements, and company policies
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the ongoing growth of the venue
About You:
Previous experience as a Venue Manager, Assistant Venue Manager, or senior hospitality leader within a pub or similar environment
Solid understanding of venue operations, food and beverage service, and hospitality management
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Commercially focused with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and operational targets
Passionate about creating memorable customer experiences and building a strong team culture
Confident in engaging with the local community and driving venue success
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
