Job Description
OMNI PACKAGING PTY LTD JOB DESCRIPTION As an Electronics Trades Worker at Omni Packaging Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electronic and communication equipment used in packaging operations and industrial processes. The role involves working closely with technical teams to ensure equipment operates efficiently and reliably, identifying and troubleshooting faults, and carrying out timely repairs to minimize downtime. You will ensure all systems comply with safety standards and operational requirements, while supporting continuous improvement by assisting in the upgrade and optimisation of existing equipment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Setting up and installing machinery,
providing troubleshooting support to technicians & customers,
Work in a professional and safe manner at all time and maintain all relevant OH&S; requirements
Maintaining and repairing parts systems,
providing pro-active servicing to customers offsite & ensuring all machinery in house is in full working order.
Installing electronic instruments and controls systems to specialised pallet wrapping machinery and other machinery
Testing machinery for diagnostics, and repairing parts and wiring and electronic parts
Training and advising users and customers on correct and safe operating procedures of the machinery
Ensure all activities are completed in a timely manner and liaise closely with other key stakeholders within the organization, as well as external and internal customers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is achieved
Provide great customer service with a high degree of professionalism and presentation
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS




Relevant trade or TAFE qualifications
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience or in similar industry.
Strong knowledge of electronic systems, circuit design, and testing.
Broad exposure to service/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic Equipment/Machinery
Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

REPORTING TO The position reports directly to the Service/Maintenance Manager.
SALARY AUD $77,000 to 85,000 per year
WORKING HOURS Full-time position, 38 hours per week
