We are seeking capable and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across the Melbourne region mostly on eastern suburbs (Pakenham VIC ****) area.
About the Role
This casual position involves delivering high-quality, community-based supports, including in-home supports and community access across the Melbourne Inner and outer CBD regions.
This is a mobile role requiring travel between participants, with a strong focus on supporting individuals to engage in their local community and build independence.
You will be expected to work within established support structures, contribute to consistent service delivery, and uphold a high standard of support.
Supports may include:
Assistance with daily living tasks, including personal care
Community supports, access, and social participation
Supporting participants to attend appointments and engage with services
Building participant capacity, independence, and daily living skills
Providing behavioral support where required
About You
We are looking for individuals who:
Are reliable and consistent in their approach to work
Demonstrate strong professional boundaries
Can build and maintain structured, respectful relationships with participants
Are calm, adaptable, and responsive in complex situations
Take accountability for the quality of supports they deliver
Are available for a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
Experience in disability, psychosocial supports, or community services
Demonstrated understanding of psychosocial and/or complex support needs
Experience delivering supports within community-based settings
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid & CPR
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Ability to work across Melbourne region (outside CBD)
