The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for a Procurement Support Officer to join a highly skilled procurement team. Supporting a broad range of procurement and contract management activities, this role is ideal for an experienced administrator with robust organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work confidently with internal stakeholders.
Working in a fast-paced and process-driven environment, you will provide administrative and procurement support while contributing to projects, documentation management, training coordination and purchasing activities across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing high-quality customer service and acting as a key point of contact for procurement-related enquiries, policies, procedures, documentation and stakeholder support.
Delivering purchasing, procurement, contract administration and operational support to internal customers while assisting with day-to-day procurement activities across multiple business areas.
Assisting with the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, guidelines and controlled documentation to ensure compliance and best practice.
Coordinating procurement transactions including purchase orders, work orders, field release orders, material ordering and other purchasing activities required to support operational service delivery.
Supporting procurement projects through research, evaluation of alternative approaches, report preparation and recommendations that contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Assisting with the coordination of training programs, inductions, contractor meetings and procurement education activities, including minute taking, presentation preparation and stakeholder engagement.
Maintaining knowledge of relevant legislation, procurement frameworks and organisational requirements while promoting procurement as an essential business function throughout the organisation.




Building and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders while contributing to a professional and collaborative team environment.

Your Skills & Experience
Previous experience in procurement support, purchasing, contract administration or a similar administrative role.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures and business processes.
Well-developed administrative skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong computer literacy and confidence working with procurement, financial or business management systems.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams while building effective stakeholder relationships.
Demonstrated initiative, adaptability and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Experience supporting projects, training coordination or document management functions will be highly regarded.
