Concrete Finisher – Waffle Pod Slabs (Residential)
We are a well-established concreting business specialising in
residential house slabs (primarily waffle pods)
across Western Sydney. With a strong pipeline of ongoing work through various builders, we are looking for a
reliable and experienced Concrete Finisher
to join our crew.
About the Role
You will be working as part of a
tight, efficient crew
delivering high-quality slab work from start to finish.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their finish and can work at pace.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare sites and ensure slabs are ready for pouring
Set up and align
formwork
to plans
Install and position
reinforcement (mesh/rebar)
Carry out concrete pours and monitor consistency
Perform
screeding, trowelling, and finishing
to a high standard
Conduct quality checks and fix any defects
Maintain strong
site safety practices (PPE required)
Work closely with builders,



supervisors, and team members
Keep accurate records of concrete usage and adjustments
Maintain clean and organised work areas
Problem-solve during pours and finishing stages
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a
Concrete Finisher (essential)
Strong ability to
screed and finish confidently
Experience with
waffle pod slabs
Good understanding of
formwork and reinforcement
Ability to read and follow plans
Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
Physically fit and able to handle demanding work
Requirements
White Card (essential)
Driver's Licence (essential)
Own transport (preferred)
