About the role
MSS Security is seeking a Project Security Officer who holds a current
Negative Vetting 1 Clearance
to join our team at a high-profile data centre in Melbourne.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensure all visitors and contractors remain within authorised areas and maintain line of sight.
Verify and confirm visitor identification prior to granting access to secure areas and maintain visitor logs.
Challenge and report any unauthorised persons, suspicious behaviour or security breaches in accordance with site procedures.
Monitor compliance with security policies and standards.
Coordinate security audits and maintain compliance registers and audit evidence.
Conduct online meetings with the National Account Manager,



the customer and stakeholders.
Requirements
Must be an
Australian Citizen
and hold an
NV1 Clearance
.
Valid Victorian Security Licence.
Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.
White Card (or willing to obtain).
Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).
Availability to work Monday to Saturday.
Prior experience working on data centre projects, with a strong understanding of data centre security.
