QuickCare is proud to partner with a family-owned, expanding early childhood education group in Melbourne's northern suburbs, in their search for an experienced and driven Centre Director. This is a unique prospect to take the helm of a growing service and shape it from the ground up, backed by an owner with genuine ambition for further growth.
About the role
As Centre Director, you'll lead a modern, well-equipped service with dedicated spaces for children across multiple age groups, including a Kinder program. This is a true leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on building culture, driving enrolments, and establishing a service's reputation in its local community from an early stage. You'll have the backing of a family-owned operator who is already planning future growth, meaning genuine career progression for the right person.
Key responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop your team to deliver consistently high-quality childcare and education
Drive enrolment growth and build strong relationships with local families and the community
Oversee day-to-day operations, including compliance, rostering, and administration




Ensure full adherence to the National Quality Framework, regulations, and child protection requirements
Establish strong, sustainable systems and a positive workplace culture as the service continues to grow

About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Centre Director role
Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification)
Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate a team
Sound working knowledge of the NQF, EYLF/VEYLDF, and childcare regulations
A proactive, hands-on approach and genuine passion for growing a service's enrolments and reputation
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
