Initial Response & Safety is an established qualified organisation designed to focus on and address the shortfalls in normal operations and procedures that are experienced during industrial shutdown, maintenance, and construction periods. Initial Response & Safety consists of professional teams specialising in Safety Management, Emergency Response, Safety Consulting and Workplace Training activities for higher risk work tasks such as Confined Space Entry and Working at Height.
Due to ongoing growth and client demand, we are currently seeking casual staff to fill the position of Safety & Rescue Technician / Emergency Response Personnel.
Hours of work will vary depending on our clients' schedule / demand levels, however some positions may include up to ***** hours per week,



whilst other "fill-in" positions may be available for those looking to supplement existing income.
The majority of our clients are located in south-east Queensland however we currently have roles in Victoria and Far North Qld. Durations of the roles are 2-8 weeks.
To be successful in this role, you must be medically fit and physically capable to perform your duties. This is very much a hands on role and you must have prior experience as a Safety and Rescue Technician or in the field of Emergency Response. Qualifications in rescue are a must.
Full training in our work practices will be provided.
