A leading global investment bank is seeking an Associate to join its Industrials team in Sydney, driven by sustained growth in transaction activity and an expanding client base. The team advises corporates and financial sponsors on M&A;, equity and debt raisings, and strategic advisory mandates across core industrial subsectors. This hire reflects a long-term investment in execution capability and future leadership within the group.
The role offers end-to-end deal exposure, with Associates playing a central role in transaction execution, financial modelling, valuation analysis, and preparation of client materials.



The team operates in a highly commercial, execution-focused environment with regular client interaction and close day-to-day engagement with senior bankers. Associates are given meaningful ownership over workstreams and are expected to contribute proactively across multiple live mandates.
The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years' experience in investment banking or corporate advisory, gained at a global bank or top-tier advisory platform. A strong technical skillset in financial modelling and valuation is essential, alongside a proven ability to manage processes, coordinate stakeholders, and operate effectively in a fast-paced deal setting. Prior Industrials exposure is advantageous but not essential for candidates with strong execution credentials.
