Clinical/Registered Psychologist

As a Clinical/Registered Psychologist, you will be at the forefront of delivering evidence-based psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to clients across a diverse range of presenting concerns. This position is integral to our mission of providing high-quality, accessible mental health services to our community.
Key responsibilities
Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic interviews with clients presenting with various mental health concerns
Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualised treatment plans utilising evidence-based therapeutic interventions
Providing psychological counselling and psychotherapy to clients across the lifespan
Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, psychiatrists, and allied health practitioners, to ensure coordinated and holistic client care
Assessing risk and implementing appropriate safety protocols and crisis intervention strategies when necessary
Contributing to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in psychological theory and practice
Participating in clinical supervision and consultation to support quality outcomes and professional growth
Providing feedback and recommendations to clients and referring professionals regarding assessment findings and treatment progress
What we're looking for




Current General Registration with AHPRA(or will receive within 4 weeks from application)
Experience providing evidence-based psychological interventions
Competence in conducting assessments and writing comprehensive reports
Ability to manage a clinical caseload independently
Strong risk assessment and case formulation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of professionalism, ethical practice, and confidentiality
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

$1,000 annual CPD allowance for Clinical Psychology Registrars only during their placement at Psych Connect
Individual supervision with AHPRA-approved supervisors
