We are a fast growing Australian business in the home renovation and building products sector, generating $7M+ in annual revenue across wholesale, retail, e-commerce, and commercial B2B channels. Supported by our own supply chain and manufacturing partnerships, we have built a successful national business with a robust customer base and a scalable foundation for future growth.
As our Managing Director transitions toward a greater focus on long term strategy and expansion, we are seeking a commercially driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to take ownership of operational performance and help lead the business through its next phase.
Working closely with the leadership team, you will become the operational leader of the business, responsible for improving efficiency, strengthening systems, reducing costs, and building the processes and capability required to support sustainable growth. Your scope will span operations, financial performance, supply chain, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop staff and and wider operational teams, ensuring accountability, performance, and consistent execution.
Drive operational improvements across warehousing, logistics, fulfilment, customer service, sales and support functions.
Oversee budgets, reporting, cash flow visibility, landed costs, and profitability improvement initiatives.
Identify cost saving opportunities, improve margins, and eliminate operational inefficiencies.
Optimise supply chain performance, supplier relationships, inventory management, and procurement processes.
Support wholesale, B2B, retail, and e-commerce growth through stronger systems, reporting, and operational alignment.
Implement improved processes, KPIs,



automation, and business systems to create a more scalable operation.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a commercially minded operational leader who can combine strategic thinking with hands on execution.
You will bring:
Senior operational leadership experience (COO, Operations Director, General Manager, Commercial Manager, or similar).
Strong commercial and financial understanding, including margins, cost control, and business performance.
Experience improving operational efficiency, implementing systems, and delivering measurable results.
Background in wholesale, distribution, supply chain, retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing environments.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop teams and create accountability.
