POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the A-Grade Electrician is to provide electrical support to the factory with electrical jobs that relate to assembling our chillers. We are looking for trade qualified electricians.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Electrical
Reading electrical and wiring diagrams, drawings, or specifications to determine job requirements.
Installing electrical enclosures, fittings, electronic control systems and insulated cable as required.
Prechecks prior to Energisation.
Energising Chillers for testing purposes, following LOTO and Smardt procedures and checklists.
Contributing to the production of all chillers to exacting quality standards.
Supervision of trainees and Apprentices.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Smardt processes.
Other
Other duties as required.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Electrical aptitude.
Powertool experience.
Assembly experience.
Ability to read electrical drawings.
Experience in electrical assembly.
