About the Role
We're seeking an experienced People & Culture Coordinator to join our support office team. This HR generalist role brings together recruitment and broader HR administration into a single position that spans the full employee lifecycle — from attraction and onboarding through to performance management and everyday employee relations support.
This role suits someone who is genuinely qualified in HR, comfortable working autonomously, and confident navigating complexity — whether that's a tricky award interpretation, a sensitive performance conversation, or juggling recruitment across multiple sites at once.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment across our early learning centres and support office —
job ads, screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding
Provide day-to-day HR administration support, including contracts, HRIS data integrity,
and employee record management
Support performance management processes, including probation reviews, performance
improvement plans, and annual review cycles
Provide first-line advice to service Managers and People Leaders on HR policy, procedure and award/Fair Work interpretation
Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances and
disciplinary processes, escalating complex matters as needed
Maintain and improve HR processes, templates and documentation to support consistency
across sites
Support workforce planning activity, including anniversary/review scheduling and
reporting
Contribute to broader P&C; projects as required (e.g. restructures, policy reviews,
engagement initiatives)
About You — Essential

Qualification in Human Resources (Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree level)
Demonstrated generalist HR experience across recruitment, HR administration and performance management
Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and modern awards
Highly process-driven with strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and complex, sensitive situations with sound judgement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust with
leaders at all levels
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
About You — Desirable
Experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, or a similar multi-site
services environment
Familiarity with relevant awards (e.g. Children's Services Award, Educational Services
Award)
Experience with Employment Hero or similar HRIS systems
Experience supporting organisational change processes
What We Offer
A varied, autonomous generalist role with genuine scope to shape process and
practice
Supportive, close-knit support office team

Opportunities for professional development and career growth within a growing organisation
Flexible working opportunities are available including hybrid work options
Childcare discounts at any Atlantis Group Early Learning or Outside School Care service
