Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Toolmaker – Moulding to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, refurbishment, modification, and manufacture of moulding tools and equipment used in production.
This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to quality and safety. Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm $40 - $45 per hour
Key Responsibilities Manufacture, assemble, and fit precision mould tools, components, and fixtures. Perform maintenance, repair, and modification of existing moulds to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and engineering specifications. Collaborate with engineering, production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot tooling and moulding issues. Conduct testing and commissioning of current mould tools.
Ensure moulds meet required tolerances and quality standards. Operate toolroom machinery such as manual and CNC machines including lathes, milling machines, grinders, EDM and drilling equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and ensure tooling is production ready.




Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime. Maintain accurate records of tool modifications, repairs, and maintenance schedules. Follow workplace health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Trade qualification in Toolmaking, Fitter & Turner, or equivalent. Proven experience in mould manufacture, maintenance, refurbishment, and repair making, preferably
in injection moulding, blow moulding, die-casting, or similar manufacturing processes. Strong knowledge of machining processes (CNC, milling, turning, grinding, EDM). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
High attention to detail and precision. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with CAD/CAM software (desirable).
Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. General Construction Induction Certificate (Blue/White Card)
Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets Current valid Driver's license
